hey... guess who finally made time for some scrappin'?? Me. Yup, in order to try to salvage some sanity, I made myself sit down and make stuff. So good for the body + soul + heart + life. Here are a few I cranked out recently...
journaling on the card behind the photo says: I suppose that after two and a half years of having me all to yourself- it’s hard to think of sharing me. Especially with the new kid who showed up and is already stealing the attention of your parents. The kid who’s still too small to be of any real interest to you. It’s understandable that you are not keen on me spending my days with baby Zac while you go off to school. Your mom and I tried to explain to you several times... telling you that when you were a baby I stayed and played with and took care of you...now that you're big you get to go to school...and since Zac is a baby I stay with him now...play and take care of him all day. You were so not having that explanation. “He ok by his-self” you said. Or you just cried. Said you didn’t want to go to school. That you hated your teachers and you hated your friends. We tried explaining again... day after day. You were not cool with it and you let us know. Then a simple solution occurred to me. It is too complicated for little you to try to understand the whole situation...so I said “You go to school and I will wait for you.” Yes, that made sense to you. You would go to school and I would simply wait. All day. Until you came home. It just so happened that I was waiting with baby Zac...but whatever. As long as nothing fabulous was happening without you. As long as we were only waiting for you. All was well. Now you leave for school with no tears (usually) and as you head out the door, you say “You wait for me Nisa?” and I say yes... and I do

Aww!!! Totally blew me over w/ the journaling for the "wait" LO. Too stinkin cute. He's lucky to have you (and vice versa) methinks :D

Gorgeous!! I keep looking at the layouts again and again! One Q though: What is the patterned paper you used as the background on the woo-ed LO?? It is so yummy... You really know how to rock the boy layouts :o)...

perhaps we should always plan our scrappy dates months in advance.
then at least we know they're coming.

I was so happy to see these LOs from you. I love your scrapping style and have missed seeing your LOs lately. Your journalling style is so unique - I love the "He thinks I wait" story - just perfect.
