so much of my photography life is spent trying to get the best most amazing shot of a given situation. the right light. the right location. framed up just right. crisp and focused.
and yet... sometimes nothing captures a moment quite like a bad photo.
or four.
this is Keaton playing one of our favorite games- called "make the bed"
pre-Keaton, this was more of a chore. just another annoying thing that had to be done everyday, even though it would get messed up again in a few hours. lame.
but now- now it's a blast. He LOVES it. Months ago- I would pick him up and plop him at the head of the bed- now he's big enough to climb up there himself...and does so as soon as I pick up the blankets. Cuz he knows what's coming. I flap out the sheet and he gets a face full of breeze. Which is, of course- always hilarious. I throw the comforter on the bed- and over his head... again- comedic genius. Then we take turns flopping on the newly made bed. Face first. And bouncing (him) and jumping (me) and laughing crazy loud (both of us)... Turns out that what used to be a chore, is now a great way to perk up what can sometimes be a long afternoon...
