this is it. our go to activity as of late. boy + puppy + hose + backyard. it provides honestly endless amounts of fun. for all involved.

 

 

 

 

 

 

also adorable- the other night cousin Nora came over and we all went on a walk...Keaton and Nora took turns riding or pushing the pink bus...there are several adorable pictures of the ride sharing-like this:

I know that many family members who read the blog are probably thinking "that designing biz is nice and all Nisa, but what's the boy up to??"

so here you go. the answer in photos and snippets.

much of our time these days is spent outside. "Outside" being Keaton's second most signed word. ("Please" being the first. I like to think it's cuz he's polite. It's probably more likely that he thinks the sign "please" means "ME!!! GIVE IT TO ME!!! MEEEEE!!!")

and when outside- his favorite thing to do is play with the hose. the kid is fearless with the hose. and drinks like a fish.

(this photo, though not a spectacular shot, is SO him right now. Nuk in mouth- (I was SURE we would not do pacifiers with him...yeah, he showed me. And until just a few weeks ago my rule of "only in bed or in the car" stood. But it's recently been expanded to include "or at home" - as he is on the brink of walking and changing nap schedule and other big deal 14 mo old things and he's been in more need of comfort lately- and if this helps, then whatevs, you know?)So, yes, nuk in mouth, flashcards and tunnel in the background, signing "PLEASE" with a look of desperation, asking to be up on my lap so we can look out the window...)
